DATAGROUP Launches GOWBOX to Empower German SMEs in Digital Transformation

On October 22, 2025, DATAGROUP unveiled GOWBOX, a new IT service portfolio designed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Germany. The GOWBOX package aims to simplify digital transformation by integrating five core components: SAP Business One ERP, digital business processes (including document and contract management, legal archiving, time tracking), IT infrastructure, comprehensive security measures, and flexible cloud technology. Jana Kuck, Managing Director of DATAGROUP GO — the dedicated SME-focused division that developed GOWBOX — stated that the offering consolidates over 25 years of IT expertise to reduce complexity for SMEs and enhance their digitalization efforts. DATAGROUP CEO Andreas Baresel highlighted that GOWBOX enables smaller companies to access the same high-quality IT services available to larger firms via their existing CORBOX platform.

The launch builds on DATAGROUP GO’s formation through acquisitions of the Hövermann IT-Gruppe and CONPLUS Mittelstandslösungen, expanding the company’s capacity to serve SMEs effectively. Meanwhile, in broader SME recognition, Orthopädie- und Reha-Team Zimmermann from Cottbus was named a Premier Finalist of the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" award, underlining innovation and social responsibility. The family-run company is known for combining traditional craftsmanship with innovations like 3D printing and sustainable practices, demonstrating the innovative spirit thriving within German SMEs.
