Free HIV Testing Offered in Potsdam-Mittelmark for World Sexual Health Day 2026

Potsdam-Mittelmark is marking World Sexual Health Day 2026, celebrated annually on September 4, with a special initiative offering free and anonymous HIV testing on September 3 and 4. The tests will be available at Gutshof 1-7, 14542 Werder, in Room 306a from 9 AM to 12 PM on both days, requiring no prior registration.

In addition to testing, personal and confidential consultations about HIV, other sexually transmitted infections, and overall sexual health will be provided. The district emphasizes that sexual health goes beyond the absence of disease, encompassing physical, emotional, and social well-being, along with respect and self-determined sexuality.
