German Businesses Struggle with Slow Internet: A Nationwide Crisis

In a disappointing report released on September 11, 2025, it was revealed that two-thirds of German companies are adversely affected by slow internet connections, exacerbating challenges in productivity and operational efficiency. According to a survey by the Institute of the German Economy, 65% of surveyed firms feel that slow internet prevents them from functioning optimally, leading to economic losses and increased frustration. Only a fraction of the necessary infrastructural updates has been implemented to date.
