Infrastructure projects on key highways remain critical, with IHK estimating annual economic damages from delays between 50 and 100 million euros. Moreover, commercial land availability is shrinking drastically, with only 468 hectares unrestricted—enough for roughly two years at current demand. While apprenticeship contracts saw a 14.7% increase in the first half of the year, uncertainties linger due to demographic trends and technological shifts like artificial intelligence.
