Health and Care Week Kicks Off in Oberspreewald-Lausitz

The 12th Health and Care Week is set to take place in the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district from October 6 to 10, 2025, with the opening event occurring at the Landratsamt Senftenberg. Scheduled from 10 AM to 2 PM, the kickoff will feature various expert talks and exhibitions focused on topics such as self-care, aging, and mental health. The overarching theme, "Healthy and fit into old age," aims to promote health maintenance across generations.

Residents can look forward to a range of activities geared towards enhancing the quality of life as individuals age, with opportunities to engage with specialists from the health and care sectors. The event is free and barrier-free, ensuring accessibility for all community members.

In addition to the kickoff, other municipalities will contribute to the Health and Care Week by hosting additional events through to October 23, 2025.
