Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht Faces New Fraud Investigation Amid Ongoing Legal Battles

German reality star Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, 34, is embroiled in fresh legal troubles as Cologne police have launched a new fraud investigation tied to a 2024 case, according to Chief Public Prosecutor Ulrich Bremer. This development comes while he remains entangled in a separate legal battle in Innsbruck concerning an unpaid hotel bill totaling €13,827.35 from his 30th birthday party at Hotel Sonne. Despite initially settling this debt following his June 2025 arrest at Hamburg Airport—which led to 23 days in custody—continued criminal proceedings have been ordered by the Innsbruck Court due to Ochsenknecht's denial of fraud allegations and failure to respond to official notices.

His ex-girlfriend, Yeliz Koç, who recently appeared alongside him in the reality series “Yeliz & Jimi - We Are Family,” covered the hotel bill after his arrest. Ochsenknecht, son of actors Uwe and Natascha Ochsenknecht, is a former child actor known for "Die Wilden Kerle" and currently lives in Dubai.

Ochsenknecht’s new lawyer Lukas Staffler stated that his client has submitted a statement and will not attend the upcoming court date, suggesting his presence would not benefit the trial’s proceedings. The star maintains his innocence, stating, “I am not a fraudster and did not intend to cause costs that I could not cover.” He is determined to clear his name and repair his reputation amidst these ongoing legal challenges.

Recently, the second season of his reality documentary premiered on Sky and Wow, providing a glimpse into his personal life amid the controversies. This legal saga highlights the complexities facing the media personality as he navigates fraud allegations alongside public scrutiny.
