Kingsley Coman Honored in Emotional Farewell Ceremony at Bayern Munich

Kingsley Coman was officially bid farewell by Bayern Munich in a heartfelt ceremony held before their Bundesliga match against FC St. Pauli at the Allianz Arena. Attended by 75,000 fans, the event marked Coman's departure after a decade at the club, during which he became one of Bayern's top players.

Coman transferred to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr in mid-August for approximately €30 million. Until this farewell, Bayern and Coman had not found the right occasion to properly thank the fans, having only communicated via official statements and social media. The ceremony featured club officials such as sports director Max Eberl and director Christoph Freund presenting a collage of Coman's greatest moments, including his legendary winning goal in the 2020 Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.

Reflecting on his time at Bayern, Coman expressed deep gratitude for the club's family-like culture, emphasizing the "Mia san Mia" philosophy. He said, "I had a super time in Munich. I had many friends here who became like family to me. This philosophy, 'Mia san Mia', this family feeling – that is special. That's why I came back."

During his illustrious career at Bayern, Coman played 339 competitive matches, scoring 72 goals and providing 71 assists. His achievements include nine Bundesliga titles, three DFB-Pokal trophies, a European Supercup, six national Supercups, a Club World Cup title, and the memorable Champions League triumph.

This farewell ceremony stands as a testament to Coman's significant impact at Bayern Munich and the heartfelt connection he forged with the club and its supporters.
