German companies are increasingly focusing on digital transformation tools and cybersecurity measures to enhance their operations. EDIH Südwest has launched a free Digitalcheck for businesses to assess their digital readiness, identifying areas for improvement and setting realistic transformation goals. This analysis includes a comprehensive questionnaire covering aspects like digital strategy, data management, automation, and connectivity. Funded by the EU's Digital Europe initiative, this program aims to equip businesses with insights into their competitive standing in an evolving digital landscape.

In parallel, the UK's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) released a guide on securing Operational Technology (OT) architecture, highlighting five principles essential for establishing robust security protocols for OT systems. The guide targets cybersecurity professionals managing OT, applicable to both new and existing environments, thereby addressing the evolving security challenges in operational technology. This effort was supported by several international partners, including Germany's Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).

Together, these initiatives reflect a crucial step in ensuring that German businesses can effectively navigate the complexities of digital transformation and cybersecurity threats.
