Niedersachsen to Host First Cybersecurity Awareness Event for Businesses on April 17, 2026

The Zentrale Ansprechstelle Cybercrime Niedersachsen (ZAC Niedersachsen) is organizing its inaugural Cybersecurity Infoveranstaltung for companies on April 17, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This hybrid event, which will take place both in-person at INFORUM in Hannover and online, aims to inform businesses about current cyber threats and practical prevention strategies to enhance their IT and data security.

The event is designed to foster dialogue between businesses and security authorities amid rising cybercrime challenges. It will present realistic threat scenarios and actionable recommendations relevant to daily corporate operations. Participation is open to company executives, IT managers, security officers, and employees responsible for IT security and digital risk management.

Attendance is limited to 100 in-person participants and 500 online, with a maximum of two attendees per company. There is a €5 fee for in-person attendance, while online participation is free.
