Polytives GmbH Enhances Rudolstadt Facility Amid Expanding International Plastic Innovation

Polytives GmbH, located in Rudolstadt-Schwarza, is currently undergoing significant facade renovations to repair damage and enhance its building's appearance. The renovations, commissioned by their landlord LEG Thüringen and executed by Malerfirma Herger, have drawn excitement from Frank Seiler, assistant to the management, who anticipates the improvements will reflect the innovative technology developed inside the facility.

The company has operated in this location for about two years, having taken over the notable building once occupied by Polymer Engineering GmbH. Seiler remarked that local conditions have been very favorable for their young chemistry company, enabling fruitful collaborations with regional partners such as TITK and TU Ilmenau. These connections have supported Polytives’ ambitious efforts to advance their products across the entire plastic processing spectrum, including bioplastics, recyclates, and high-performance plastics.

Polytives is currently engaged in major international projects, aiming to export their cutting-edge technology from Rudolstadt and Thuringia to markets across Germany and worldwide.
