Portrait Exhibition Highlights Stories of Individuals with Disabilities

A new portrait exhibition titled "Ich bin's – ganz anders!" has been unveiled at the Ministry of Education in Brandenburg, showcasing the remarkable stories of individuals with disabilities. The exhibition features works by photographer Ralf Bäcker, who spent time at the AWO residential facility in Lübbenau capturing the essence of each participant through powerful imagery.

The collection portrays not only the faces of these individuals but also embodies their personal narratives and aspirations, emphasizing the importance of inclusion and recognition in society.
