VfB Stuttgart Triumphs 4-2 Away at Bayer Leverkusen, Climbs to 10th in Bundesliga

VfB Stuttgart delivered an impressive performance in their Bundesliga away match against Bayer Leverkusen, securing a 4-2 victory that propelled them from 15th to 10th place in the league standings. This win marked Stuttgart’s third of the season, showcasing their energy, efficiency, and character under pressure.

Ermedin Demirovic was a standout contributor, scoring twice and emphasizing the team’s collective mindset. “We wanted to bring energy onto the pitch... and we did that today,” he remarked. Jamie Leweling and Bilal El Khannouss also found the net for Stuttgart, while Patrik Schick and Ibrahim Maza scored for Leverkusen.

Stuttgart’s performance demonstrated both attacking prowess and defensive resilience, as they effectively held off Leverkusen's attempts to reduce the deficit during the match’s final moments. The victory brought a welcome boost of confidence after a 2-3 home loss to Borussia Mönchengladbach just over a week earlier, which had left the team in a disappointing 15th spot.

Looking ahead, Stuttgart aims to build on this success as they prepare for their Champions League fixture against Galatasaray Istanbul, while continuing their positive momentum in the Bundesliga with an upcoming match against SV Werder Bremen.
