The vicious attack occurred on September 10 when, after shopping together, Elnur D. followed his ex-wife into a cornfield and stabbed her multiple times. The victim suffered severe injuries, lost 1.5 liters of blood, and required a six-hour emergency surgery that saved her life. The accused admitted through his lawyer that frustration and disappointment over the impending separation motivated the attack. He also robbed his wife of her phone and bank card post-assault. The victim opted not to testify, but the court denied her request to hold the proceedings privately.

Meanwhile, in Augsburg, a murder trial is underway against Gino F., accused of killing Nina H., aged 30. Disturbingly, their eight-year-old daughter witnessed the shooting and called for help during the incident. Prosecutors allege that Gino F. committed the murder out of admiration for his foster father, a motive that cast a shadow over the courtroom.
