Authorities in Reinbek have resolved a water supply disruption caused by a pipe burst but warned residents of temporary water discoloration. In Schwarzenbek, a fire in a multi-family house, attributed to an overheated fryer, rendered the building uninhabitable, causing significant damages but no injuries.

Overall, the combination of snow, ice, and cold temperatures has prompted warnings from the DWD about potential traffic chaos, especially outside the western parts of Germany.
