This loss marks Schalke’s sixth consecutive match without a win, plunging them into the relegation zone. The team's offensive woes are stark, with Schalke failing to score in their last four home games and at risk of setting a Bundesliga record for goalless starts at home, a dubious milestone previously held by FC St. Pauli.
