Hamburger SV Faces Deepening Injury Crisis Ahead of Crucial DFB-Pokal Match

Hamburger SV's injury problems have intensified as they prepare to face Eintracht Frankfurt in the upcoming DFB-Pokal match. The club's top scorer this season, Yussuf Poulsen, who has netted two goals, is among the injured players, adding to HSV’s mounting concerns. The situation worsened with news that another prominent player may be sidelined for the rest of the year, heightening worries about the squad's depth and competitiveness in critical matches ahead.

This injury crisis puts significant pressure on HSV as they seek success in the DFB-Pokal, a competition that demands full strength and strategic focus. The absence of key contributors like Poulsen is a major blow, potentially affecting the team's offensive capabilities and overall performance.

The timing could not be more challenging, with the club's ambitions hinging on navigating through this knockout stage successfully. The uncertainty surrounding player availability complicates preparations and casts doubt on how the coaching staff will manage the squad for the high-stakes fixture.
