WiReGo Supports Companies in Recruiting Skilled Workers at Multiple Job Fairs in 2026

The WiReGo team is mobilizing to help companies in the Goslar district and neighboring regions secure skilled workers and trainees by representing them at six job fairs throughout 2026. Running from April to December, these events include university fairs in April and June and others across August, September, and December. Participating companies won't have to provide their own staff for the fairs as WiReGo manages all presentations and communicates job openings to students, graduates, parents, and professionals. According to project manager Bozhena Bachmann, the team not only disseminates vacancies but also facilitates initial contacts to encourage regional career opportunities.

Simultaneously, the Schwalm-Eder district is hosting a consultation day for entrepreneurs and business founders on February 19, 2026. Jointly organized with partners like the IHK Kassel-Marburg and WIBank, the event offers free, confidential advice on funding, succession planning, employee training, and business management. Prospective participants must register by February 16 and can expect individualized expert guidance to support their workforce and growth strategies.

These regional initiatives demonstrate proactive efforts to address Germany's skilled labor shortage by combining outreach and practical support for companies and entrepreneurs.
